Kanter posted 16 points (8-12 FG), 11 rebounds, and two blocks over 22 minutes in Wednesday’s blowout win against the Lakers.
Although Kanter put up a strong performance on Wednesday, he won’t be able to keep this up consistently against defenses that offer more resistance that the putrid Lakers. With Steven Adams locked in as the starting center for the Thunder, Kanter will need to find ways to contribute in limited minutes, as his own defensive deficiencies often get in the way of him receiving extended run.
