Thunder’s Enes Kanter: Scores 21 points Sunday

Thunder

Kanter contributed 21 points (7-8 FG, 7-8 FT), eight rebounds, one steal, and one block in 25 minutes during the Thunder‘s 122-112 win versus the Nuggets on Sunday.

In the last five games, Kanter has managed 14.8 points on 62 percent from the field and 92 percent from the charity stripe to go along with 9.8 rebounds, 0.8 blocks, 0.6 assists, and 0.2 steals in 22 minutes per game. Considering that he shares time at center with starter Steven Adams, these are admirable numbers of late for Kanter. If he were earning more time, it’d be fairly reasonable to expect similar production going forward. However, since Kanter doesn’t provide much in terms of defense, his value is based on solid returns in scoring, rebounding, and field-goal percentage.
