Thunder’s Enes Kanter: Turns in solid performance off bench Friday

Thunder

Kanter produced 15 points (6-10 FG, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, an assist and a block over 23 minutes in Friday’s 117-113 victory over the Lakers.
The reserve center bounced back nicely from back-to-back single-digit scoring efforts, taking advantage of one of the leagues’ more permeable frontcourt defenses. Kanter clearly has the ability to offer outstanding production from the center position, but continues to receive modest playing time while coming off the bench behind Steven Adams. While not particularly proficient on the defensive end, the 23-year-old can nevertheless deliver some solid rebounding numbers to go along with his above-average scoring. His fantasy ceiling admittedly remains somewhat limited by his current role, he often serves as a sneaky, low-cost option in daily formats.
