Enes with Historic Numbers Off The Bench
April 9, 2016

In the summer of 2015 Enes Kanter signed a contract with the Portland Trailblazers which was matched quickly by his current team the OKC Thunder. Portland saw something in Enes which was revealed in their last game of the season. Enes scored a career high 33 points (13-18 FG, 1-1 3pt)to go alongside 20 rebounds (9 Offensive & 11 Defensive). This would be the first time an OKC player scored at least 30 points and record 20 rebounds in the same game in franchise history. What made this feat even more great is that Enes did all of this while just recording 1 turnover!

With the highest PER from a bench player, playing all but 1 game off the bench Enes has solidified himself as one of the top candidates for the NBA 6th Man  of the Year Award.

  • Jack Sikma scored 31 points and 25 rebounds while playing for the Seattle Supersonic’s in 1983 which eventually became the OKC when they moved.
