PER is one of the best models for identifying a players efficiency, standing for Player Efficiency Rating. Players that rank in the top 10 or 20 in PER are usually the top players in the NBA. Last year Enes was ranked in the top 20, and now as of week 7 of the 2016-2017 NBA season Enes Kanter currently ranks 18th. Of the top 25, roughly 20 of them were All-stars the previous year. Enes’ teammate and friend Russell Westbrook ranked 1st as he finally overtook Anthony Davis.
